Your handmade pouch is embroidered with a colorful pattern evoking the gem-like succulent plants that grow amidst the rocks. Quicken it with a special coin or stone.

These zippered pouches were handmade by Guatemalan artisans working with fair trade organizations to create a new market for their traditional textile crafts. These beautiful designs are inspired by huipiles (poncho-like tops) and cortes (wrap skirts) that are worn by Mayan women today and that have been part of their traditional dress for centuries.
