Piano-Playing Bear – Carved Wooden Toy Sale

The children of Birdmoss eagerly await the arrival of the Goblin Market during every holiday season.  They are fascinated by the Goblins hand-carved wooden figures that seem to come to life on command.

Your Piano-Playing Bear is a traditional folk toy which is sure to evoke nostalgia and wonder.  Each one is unique.  Measuring about 4 inches tall, it was hand-carved in the small village of Bogorodskoye, Russia (and imported before the war). Villagers have been selling wooden toys to pilgrims trekking to the nearby Holy Trinity Monastery for hundreds of years. Hold the toy by its handle and move it in a circle so that the pendulum swings; the Bear will begin playing the piano.
